Ms Raji N R  joined NISH in 1998 as Software Engineer and got engaged in the development of Computer-Aided Teaching Learning Materials for the deaf and hard of hearing. Later Raji moved to teaching the deaf students and currently she is incharge of  the B.Sc. Computer Science, Degree Program for Deaf at NISH. She is an educator with demonstrated ability to teach, motivate,and direct deaf students. She consistently maintains excellent relations with students, parents, faculty, and administrators. She is also an effective planner, who defines priorities, develops strategies, leads and manages a diverse classroom. She passed Indian Sign Language A Level course conducted by AYJ National Institute of Hearing Handicapped, Mumbai . She participates in and presents papers on deaf education at different national level conferences.

Ms Parvathy Pavithran has 18 years of experience in the field of deaf education.  Being a hard of hearing person herself, she enjoys teaching deaf students, mentoring them, guiding them and motivating them to become  positive and confident individuals

She guides and motivates students to conduct workshops, projects, seminars, exhibitions etc. She has visited Universities in the US to gain exposure on deaf education. She has attended national and international conferences and has presented papers related to deaf education. Her areas of interest includes  deaf education, measures for uplifting PwD, and Mentoring.

Before joining the NISH family in 2001, Ms. Parvathy Pavithran worked as Software Engineer in a reputed company in Technopark. She is a hard of hearing person with normal speech & language (using hearing aids in both ears). She has experience in developing teaching- learning materials for the hearing-impaired at NISH. She has taken lecture classes for DSS, Degree (HI) and BASLP courses conducted at NISH.

RoshniMs Roshni joined  NISH in December, 2009. She has a one year experience as programmer trainee before joining NISH.  Roshni uses creative ideas while teaching and is interested in exploring innovative ways of teaching-learning. shijuPishon Fernandez graduated in Fine Arts from NISH. He served as the Arts Club Secretary of the college during the academic year 2013-2014. As Arts club secretary he coordinated events integrating a mixed group of students, hearing and the deaf. Pishon then did his post-graduation in Graphic Designing from St.Joseph's College of Communication, Changanacherry and immediately joined a Bangalore-based advertising company as a Junior Designer. His passion brought him back to NISH in 2020. He has since been working as a Graphic Artist at NISH. Pishon has been assisting in the video editing work of the special daily ISL news broadcasted from NISH. And has also been supporting other graphic related works at NISH.

Ms. Arya S.S, a resident of Thiruvananthapuram, graduated in English Language and Literature from S.N.College TVM, affiliated to the University of Kerala. She holds a diploma in Early Childhood Special Education (HI) from NISH. She has been working as the faculty of Early Intervention Department for two years. DaisyMs. Daisy Sebastian has been with NISH since its inception in 1997. She played a major role in setting up the Preschool and Parent Guidance Centre following the best practices in the education of young deaf and hard of hearing children. Currently, she is the coordinator of the various academic programs (ASLP, Degree (HI), DECSE) and Intervention Programs at NISH.
