Before submission, please ensure to go through the submission guidelines carefully. Following these guidelines speeds up the process of evaluating and publishing your manuscript in the Journal. JRSDS will review only English articles that are well written based on English writing principles.

Manuscript should contain a covering letter, title page, and a blinded article file
Title Page:
Title of the manuscript, running title, names of all authors/contributors (with their highest academic degrees, designation and affiliations) and name/s of department/s and/ or institution/s to which the work should be credited.
Acknowledgement, if any.
Conflicts of Interest of each author/ contributor. A statement of financial or other relationships that might lead to a conflict of interest, if that information is not included in the manuscript itself or in an authors' form.
The name, address, e-mail, and telephone number of the corresponding author, who is responsible for communicating with the other authors about revisions and final approval of the proofs.

Manuscript should be submitted as a Microsoft Word document. The file must not contain any mention of the authors' names or initials, the institution at which the study was done or acknowledgments. Authors should include a short (30 characters or less) descriptive running title in the top right-hand margin of each manuscript page without the authors' names. The manuscript should be double-spaced. The manuscript should follow APA 7th format. Manuscripts of full papers should be prepared under the following headings.
Abstract: Abstract should not exceed 250 words. The abstract should contain the purpose of the study, methods, results, and conclusions using concise but informative language without headings to identify these sections. Keywords: Authors are requested to supply a list of 5 keywords that best represent the article Text body: The manuscript should include Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion and References. Follow APA 7th format. |
Tables and Figures: Tables and figures should be provided within the manuscript. Follow APA 7th edition l for additional information about content and correct formatting of tables and figures.
References: The in-text citations and references in the reference section of English submissions must be APA 7 formatted. All in-text citations must be listed in the reference section. Authors must include the DOI of the article when available.
Ethical approval: Confirmation on approval from the ethical committee of the Institute or University should be obtained and an ethical approval letter has to be attached.
Manuscripts submitted to JRSDS should be original work that has not been published previously, that is not currently under review elsewhere, and should not be submitted to or published in other journals at the time of submission in this journal. Confirmation of receipt for all manuscripts will be sent to the corresponding author prior to the editorial review. All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editorial Board, for suitability and if found suitable are sent to two or more expert reviewers. If the submitted manuscript does not fit the scope of the Journal, the Editorial Board can reject the manuscript at this stage itself and the authors will be informed. During submission, authors are requested to provide details of three expert reviewers in the respective area in the covering letter. However, the selection of the reviewer is at the sole discretion of the Editorial Board. Comments of the reviewers are passed on to one of the Editorial Board members and the members take the final decision.
Reviewer comments and suggestions are conveyed to the authors, and authors are requested to submit a revised version of the manuscript within 30 days. Accepted manuscripts are copy edited for grammar, punctuation, print style, and format. It may not be possible to incorporate corrections received after the acceptance. After the final acceptance of a manuscript, the manuscript will be copyedited and returned to the authors for proofreading. Authors will have two weeks to look over the copyedited manuscript and make the requested changes. Grammar corrections and formatting can be done and no other additions of content or text can be made at this point.
Journal of Rehabilitation Sciences and Disability Studies (JRSDS) is a multidisciplinary online open-access journal. It is a forum for exchanging knowledge and disseminating current research and expertise in all aspects of disabilities and related topics, from all disciplinary perspectives. This peer-reviewed journal will be published as a biannual (October, April) in English.
JRSDS publishes original articles related to Rehabilitation Sciences (Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, Psychology, Occupational therapy, Physiotherapy, Orthotic and Prosthetics), Special Education, Assistive Technologies, Disability Assessment, Disability Prevention and Inclusive Education.
